Overview
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day to day operations of a local Customer Service Center (CSC), focusing on service, distribution, and storage activities
- Design and execute service processes including preparing work orders, requisition of parts and instruments, repairs and service work, completion of job folders, production schedules, dispatch activities, route forecasting and preparation and scheduling of work hours
- Maintain the vehicle fleet by coordinating the preventative maintenance of vehicles, repairs, and licensing
- Maintain fuel, distribution and service-related inventory quality compliance and control
- Oversee and manage the daily distribution and/or service workload, project workforce and material needs to ensure seasonal demand coverage and service
- Recruit and retain employees who possess knowledge, experience and behavioral skills that will help the company reach its goals

$75,000 - $95,000 (dependent on experience)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of distribution, fuel industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
- Ability to motivate employees in a challenging and dynamic business environment

Responsibilities
Ensure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met at all times
and maintain zero preventable accidents.Manage the vehicle fleet. Coordinate vehicle preventative maintenance, repairs, scheduling and
licensing. Optimize tank utilization.Maintain fuel, distribution and service-related inventory quality compliance and control.
May be responsible for design and/or execution of Service processes and procedures, which may
include preparation of work orders, requisition of new parts and instruments, repairs and service
work, completion of job folders, production schedules, Service Technician dispatch from home
procedures and other related activities.May be responsible for design and/or execution of Distribution processes and procedures, which may
include route forecasting and preparation, daily dispatch, scheduling and managing to the 4 days, 10
hours per day standard for Drivers, and other related activities.Maximize productivity by managing to established efficiency and productivity standards and achieve
least cost distribution, while maintaining superior customer service. Implement and manage changes
in work practices and equipment use to increase individual employee and Distribution/Service team
efficiency.Oversee and manage daily Distribution and/or Service workload, project workforce and material
needs to ensure seasonal demand coverage and service.Execute Company designed service pricing programs (such as flat rate pricing) and operational
procedures to optimize profitability.Recruit and retain employees who possess knowledge, experience and behavioral skills that will help
the business reach its goals. Appropriately address underperformance before it impacts the
business.Coach, motivate and energize the CSC Distribution and/or Service teams to achieve maximum
potential and optimal results. Monitor employee performance, implement individual development
plans and activities, initiate and coordinate training and incentive plans, and evaluate employees
against clear performance standards and Company policies.Work closely with the Customer Service Center Manager to develop and implement
marketing plans.Ensure effective coordination between Customer Service, Distribution, Technical Service and Sales
functions.Confer with personnel from other CSCs to coordinate activities and share best practices.
Oversee subcontractors and permit requirements.
May manage subordinate employees such as Drivers, Distribution Coordinators, Service Technicians and
Service Coordinators.Receives guidance and direction from the Customer Service Center Manager.
- Utilizes industry knowledge and experience, business and leadership skills to make decisions regarding
daily operations and management of the Distribution and Technical Service functions for one or more
Customer Service Centers. Stands in for Customer Service Center Manager in his/her absence.
Qualifications
Education:
- Four-year Business Degree or equivalent in experience & education.
- CDL Class B, X endorsements preferred.
Experience:
- Familiar with fuel industry concepts, practices and procedures including related government regulations,
attained through a minimum of 5-7 years of related technical and/or management experience. - Good understanding of oil and/or gas fired appliances and related distribution systems (training is provided).
- Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage including MS Office.
