As a Terminal Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and ensuring the safe operation of a refrigerated propane storage terminal.   • Manage the operations of the plant which includes ensuring that activities are performed according to company policies and procedures
  • Manage a staff which includes making sure that they receive required training and clear policies and procedures in order to operate within regulatory requirements and as safely as possible
  • Ongoing management with proven performance of applicable regulations, including: Department of Homeland Security(DHS), Department of Transportation (DOT), EPA Risk Management Plan, CA Accidental Release Program (Cal-ARP/CUPA), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) including Process Safety Management (PSM), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
  • Partner with and act as a liaison between Federal, County and City emergency responder departments
  • Resolve equipment breakdowns, malfunctions and repairs
  • Manage a budget which includes controlling costs and following spending protocols

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Strong preference for working knowledge of regulatory compliance as referenced above
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a management capacity in the propane industry or a related industry
  • Experience using Microsoft office suite
