Overview

As a Operational Support Analyst in addition to providing administrative support to the fleet department, this position will create and prepare operational specific financial and business-related presentations and analyses for the company. In this role the selected individual will assist in the creation and maintenance of the vehicle data base (Remedy) and the vehicle files and serve as a liaison between field locations, the third-party maintenance organization (Donlen) and lease providers. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for applying financial concepts and processes to determine the financial impact of fleet and operational – business decisions. This is an in office full-time position.

We have an excellent opportunity for an Operational Support Analyst to join our Vehicle Maintenance Administration team at our Whippany, NJ Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Fleet database (Remedy) used to track location, status and specification of vehicles.
  • Maintain files for company owned and leased vehicles to ensure compliance with DOT Regulations.
  • Track, audit and code vendor and lease invoices for payment.
  • Creates operational and fleet specific financials and business-related analyses.
  • Special projects supporting the Director of Fleet and Tank Assets.
  • Create budget for fleet (M&R/VUF).
  • Provide Fleet analytics to Regional General Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Update monthly fleet expense forecast for field operations.
  • Maintain fleet accounting system (Lucernex).
  • Support tank asset manager as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Working knowledge of ADDS, Remedy & SAP a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle changing multiple priorities and manage time constraints
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to guide a project through to completion is a must
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
